✍️ I Write a Lot. But I Wasn't Connecting the Dots.
I've always been someone who writes things down.
Half-formed ideas, raw feelings, product
notes, frameworks, questions I'm still sitting with.
I write when I'm excited. I write when
I'm frustrated. I write when I can't sleep.
I told myself that writing helped me process
things.
But over time, I noticed something:
I almost never went back to look at
what I wrote.
One night, I randomly opened a note from two years ago.
To my surprise—and honestly, to my
heartbreak—it said almost the exact same thing I had written that week.
Same insight, same
confusion, same pain point.
Two years apart, no progress, Just memory loss.
That night, I
couldn't sleep.
Not because I hadn't grown—but because I hadn't connected my own dots.
"You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward."
But what if you forget what's behind you?
What if your best thinking is locked inside your own
history—and you never see it again?
That's when I started building Codot.
With Codot, I still write. I still leave voice notes. I still drop messy thoughts without
structure.
But now, they don't disappear.
Codot quietly tags them, links them, and holds
onto them for me.
Later, I can ask:
- What have I written about motivation?
- What were my thoughts last time I felt this way?
- Have I seen this pattern before?
Codot brings it back—just in time.
Not as a dump of old notes, but as a connected thread.
A
signal. A reminder. A reflection that still matters.
Here's a small moment that really stayed with me:
Last week, I left a quick voice note after a frustrating meeting:
"That felt off. I stayed
quiet. Next time, I need to speak up sooner."
This week, just before a similar meeting, Codot surfaced that exact note.
A gentle
reminder:
"Last time, you said you wanted to speak up."
And I did.
It
wasn't a task.
It wasn't a goal.
It was a self-promise—brought back to me at the right
moment.
That's what it means to connect the dots.
Not just in business. Not just in
ideas.
But between who you were, and who you're trying to become.
Codot doesn't just remember what you wrote.
It helps you return to it with purpose.
It
turns your scattered thoughts into your greatest teacher.
Your past, into a system of
clarity.
That's why I'm building Codot.
Because thinking doesn't stop when you hit save.
It continues—if you can come back to
it.
And if you can connect the dots, you can change everything.
